After a successful pilot year 1 of Erg Ed, many of the more than 1200 students who went through the program are eager for more rowing. And they’re in luck – this June, students from all 3 Erg Ed schools have the opportunity to try rowing on the water for 2-3 days at their local boathouse! This unique opportunity is open to Erg Ed students only, and will help students use the skills for lifelong fitness that they learned in the classroom to engage with their neighborhoods in a new and different way.
The Erg Ed Camps are hosted by Mount Baker Rowing and Sailing Center and the Pocock Rowing Center in partnership with the George Pocock Rowing Foundation’s Row to the Future initative. More information for students and families is available at http://rowtothefuture.org/erg-ed/rowing-camps/.
